Objectives of EWBI

  •       To be an influence for change, and to deliver the benefits of emotional well-being to communities through positive engagement.

  •       To leverage emotional well-being with civil societies and intersectoral collaboration to ensure that the interventions are appropriate, and sustainability enhanced.

  •       To create shared values, foster sustainable development and minimise iatrogenesis.

  •       To implement, through development of strategies, best practice models, professional education, applied research, professional development training, consultancies, and advisories in the areas of emotional well-being.  

  •       To develop tools and strategies that work in synergy with organisations to deliver a variety of best practice models in services, advice, strategies, research, advocacies, and consultancies with reciprocal benefits.

  •       To ensure that the adoption of the UN 2030 SDGs agenda by societies and global institutions are more inclusive and demonstrate accountability in designing and implementation of programs in emotional well-being by the EWBI.

  •       To develop and provide formal and non-formal educational, training, and advice, in respect to emotional well-being as a precedent towards strong, resilient, and flourishing societies and economies.

  •       To introduce programs up to and including a Professional Doctorate Program in emotional well-being towards preparing advocates in this field. The Professional Doctorate Program to be delivered by a Consortium of Global Regional Educational Centres, Institutes/Universities, where appropriate.

  •       To commission or create, collect, and disseminate research that broadens understanding of emotional well-being management, development, and impact evaluation issues.

  •       To create a global network for emotional well-being practitioners and organisations promoting affordable and consistent emotional well-being dialogues and user-friendly systems and advocating for emotional well-being professionals, organisations, processes and strategies.

  • ​The Institute’s intent shall be fulfilled through professional education, applied research, professional development training, consultancies and advisories in the area of emotional well-being.
